Meet the Women Behind Unabashed

We’re proof that you don’t have to be loud, famous or flawless to make waves.

We’ve led teams, launched businesses, changed careers and rebuilt confidence—more than once. Now, we’re using our collective skills and experience to help you speak up, stand out and own your story.

Lisa Jacobson Brown

I didn’t start Be Unabashed because I’ve always had a loud voice.

As a child and teen, I was painfully shy. Social situations felt paralyzing. I lived in my head, afraid of being seen, afraid of saying the wrong thing. And yet, something in me always knew I was meant for more.

That quiet knowing finally has led me here.

Today, I’m an introvert who speaks boldly. A coach who leads with empathy. A creator of a movement that helps women do what I’ve learned to do: stop shrinking and start living with purpose and power.

Of course I still have moments. But when it matters most, I will stand up and take action. Not perfectly, but wholeheartedly.

And that's how we've come to Be Unabashed. Times are crazy, to say the least. And it's time for women to stop shrinking and start leading.

Be Unabashed is a space for women who are done waiting to be chosen, and ready to choose themselves. I bring 30 years of leadership, brand and coaching experience. But more importantly, I bring heart, humility and hard-won courage.

If you’ve ever doubted your voice or your worth, you belong here. Because your story isn’t over—it’s just getting louder.

Unabashed  is led by women who’ve stopped waiting for permission and started making our own rules.

The creators and coaches of Unabashed fuse personal experience with practical strategy to fuel transformation. Our community is a force of connection, courage and collective change. When you join us, you're not getting access to one coach, you're getting access to many who have walked the same path and come out on the other side.

Whether you’re stepping into your power or amplifying it, Unabashed is your rallying cry.
Be bold. Be real. Be seen. Be Unabashed.

I didn’t start Be Unabashed because I’ve always had a loud voice.

As a child and teen, I was painfully shy. Social situations felt paralyzing. I lived in my head, afraid of being seen, afraid of saying the wrong thing. And yet something in me always knew I was meant for more.

That quiet knowing (and years of frustration, resiliency and fight) has led me here.

Today, I’m an recovering introvert who speaks boldly. A battle-worn coach who leads with empathy. A creator of a movement that helps women do what I’ve learned to do: stop shrinking and start living with purpose and power.

Frustration is how we’ve come to Be Unabashed. Times are crazy, to say the least. And it's time for women to stop shrinking and start leading.

This collective of Unabashed women has created a space for those done waiting to be chosen and ready to choose themselves. I bring 30 years of leadership, brand and coaching experience. But more importantly, I bring heart, humility and hard-won courage.

If you’ve ever doubted your voice or second-guessed your worth, you belong here. Because your story isn’t over — it’s just getting louder.

Lisa Jacobson Brown

I’m a 50-something year old wife, mother and seasoned business professional with three decades in communications, PR, marketing and global HR.

I’ve navigated it all: the male boss who called me “Cupcake,” the women who treated me like a pariah and the countless times I was labeled “hysterical” or “aggressive” for doing exactly what my male counterparts did without question.

But here’s what they don’t tell you in leadership books: I also built an incredible network of professional women and men who became genuine allies. I learned to turn the obstacles into steppingstones and the criticism into clarity about who I really wanted to become.

For over 30 years, I’ve been the voice behind other people's brands and businesses. Now I’m ready to use that voice for something deeper.

I want to share the unvarnished truth about what it takes to succeed as a professional woman, offer real strategies that actually work and help others navigate the same treacherous waters I’ve learned to master.

If you’re tired of generic advice and ready for someone who gets it, let’s talk.

K. Brooke Salazar, JD

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: auntie, dog mom, stand-up comedienne, keynote speaker, paralegal, payroll admin, HR exec and in-house attorney. But one thing has never changed: my passion for creating real, everyday impact.

I’m a first-gen attorney and third-gen entrepreneur devoted to improving lives in and out of the workplace. I began my career as a paralegal on death penalty cases, driven by a desire to make a difference. That purpose led me to HR, where I led workplace investigations, shaped anti-discrimination policies and aligned people strategy with business goals.

Today, as an attorney, coach and consultant, I specialize in psychological safety, conflict resolution and courageous leadership. I understand the tension between humanity and commerce and the challenge of asking for what you need.

For me, fulfillment means freedom — financial, emotional and mental. That’s why I co-founded this movement: to help women step into their power, own their voice, align their purpose with their work and build personal brands that turn connection into community.

Let’s rewrite the rules. Unapologetically.
